Job summary

Wates Smartspace is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our mobile facilities management team, covering the Southeast region with a focus on Southampton and surrounding areas.

You will perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive electrical work across a varied portfolio of commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and delivering excellent customer service on site.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (Electrical Installation) or equivalent.
• 18th Edition (BS7671) qualification.
• Experience in Facilities Management / Building Services.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proactive and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive electrical works.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in commercial buildings.
• Ensure work complies with health & safety regulations and standards.
• Undertake testing, inspection, and certification as required.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain client relationships.
• Complete job reports and documentation via digital systems.
• Work flexibly across multiple sites within the region.
