Job summary

ISS Facilities Services in Leven is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to provide electrical and building services maintenance across a portfolio of client properties within the designated region.

The role involves fault finding, repairs, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and installation work, ensuring all systems operate safely and efficiently. Full UK driving license and a company vehicle are provided.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience delivering reactive and PPM building services maintenance.
  • Experience working within facilities management or building services environments, ideally across commercial properties.
  • Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.

  • Support wider building services maintenance activities, including fabric, HVAC and mechanical tasks.

  • Undertake contractor control duties, including monitoring contractor performance and workmanship.
  • Issue and manage Permits to Work in accordance with site and client requirements.

The successful candidate will carry out fault finding, repairs, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and installation work, ensuring all systems operate safely and efficiently.

This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, strong fault-finding capabilities and a commitment to delivering excellent service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out electrical and building services maintenance across a portfolio of client properties.

Undertake electrical fault finding, repairs, installations and maintenance activities.

Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works within agreed timeframes.

Ensure customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded through high-quality service delivery.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Qualifications

Applicants must hold one of the following:

NVQ 2356 / 2357 and NVQ 2356 AM2

OR

City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation and AM1 & AM2

OR

City & Guilds 236/2360 Electrical Installations Part 1 & 2

AND

18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.

Additional Requirements

Full UK driving licence.
