Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to support UCLH’s hospital infrastructure. The role fixes faults, performs routine maintenance on BMS and HVAC systems, and ensures compliance with HTM and safety procedures in a demanding clinical environment.

The candidate will manage daily checks, issue permits, and report abnormalities as part of a responsive, client-facing service with a 1-week-in-4 on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Approved apprenticeship
• Strong technical competence in building services including UPS, generators, water treatment, refrigeration and air conditioning
• Knowledge of HTM and electrical safety standards in healthcare environments

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot and repair building management and control systems (Lighting, BMS, etc.)
• Perform daily plant checks and reactive works with good record-keeping
• Issue work permits and ensure HTM compliance
• Maintain safety awareness and health and safety practices on site
• Provide information to assist with the completion of reports and respond to outages promptly

Job Description Mobile Electrical Engineer UCLH Role statement To provide all-round engineering support maintaining the infrastructure of the buildings, complying with the Health & Safety/building codes of practice, ensuring that any difficulties or abnormalities encountered on engineering activities are reported to the Contract Supervisor. Maintain excellent standards of response to plant failures, completion of assigned work and ensure any abnormal operating conditions and housekeeping issues are dealt with proficiently. The post holder may be required to perform duties other than those given in the job description for the post. The particular duties and responsibilities attached to posts may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the duties or the level of responsibility entailed.
