Job summary

Tech People is seeking an Electrical Bias Building Services Engineer to join a mobile team operating across Southampton and surrounding areas. The role offers a strong, stable career with focus on electrical bias M&E maintenance and BMS systems.

Responsibilities include servicing BMS front-end systems, conducting PPM, fault finding, and repairs across electrical and mechanical plant. On-call rota is 1 in 4 weeks, with travel time paid door to door.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• 2391 Test & Inspect certification.
• Experience with PPM, fault finding and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain BMS front-end systems.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and mechanical plant.
• Diagnose and repair faults across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Undertake general M&E maintenance tasks.
• Emergency lighting tests.
• Water temperature monitoring.
• AHU and FCU maintenance.
• Reactive maintenance.
