Job summary

Artemis Clarke Ltd is seeking a Mobile Dispensing Assistant to work in Reading. You will ensure patients receive high-standard service, guide frame and lens choices, and support optical and hearing care services.

This full-time role covers reception, appointments, order management, and practical clinical tasks like OCT and Colorimetry, with training available through our Learning Academy.

Qualifications

• Greet patients, manage appointments, and record information in OPTIX.
• Primary contact for patients, in person or by phone.
• Handle enquiries and complaints promptly.
• Assist with frame selection and promote products and services.
• Manage orders including contact lenses and lens care.
• Promote Hearing Care services and accessories.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual field screening, Colorimetry, and OCT examinations.
• Prepare paperwork and keep clinics running smoothly.
• Assist with minor repairs and maintain tools and equipment.
• Process payments, manage till, and handle banking tasks.
• Keep reception areas clean and welcoming; provide frame/lens advice.
• Progress orders, inform patients of delays, and confirm collection readiness.
• Maintain stock, update records, and handle returns to suppliers.
