Boots Opticians is seeking a Mobile Dispensing Optician to deliver high-quality clinical care across stores. You will work closely with a Mobile Optometrist to ensure a seamless patient journey from chair to dispense, while leading and mentoring others and complying with Boots policies.

The role emphasizes flexible store coverage, ongoing CET requirements, strong stakeholder relationships, and a commitment to patient safety and digital tooling adoption.

Qualifications

• Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
• Optical experience and expertise.
• Strong relationship-building with stakeholders.
• High clinical standards and patient safety.
• Commitment to Healthcare Ambition and CET as required by GOC.
• Willing and able to travel to stores in the region.

Responsibilities

• Role model and lead exceptional care, guiding patients in optical and healthcare choices.
• Work flexibly across stores to meet business needs and develop knowledge.
• Provide expert advice for patients with specialist needs.
• Deliver complete healthcare solutions and coach team members.
• Collaborate with Boots Healthcare teams for unified care.
• Supervise and mentor colleagues and students.

• Support efficient daily operations and safe, legal practice.
• Attend leadership meetings to maintain clinical standards.
