Job summary

Boots is seeking a Mobile Dispensing Optician to provide clinical support across stores within a defined UK region. You will work closely with a Mobile Optometrist, guiding patients from chair to dispense and delivering complete healthcare solutions with a patient-centered approach.

You will travel between stores, lead by example, train colleagues and ensure adherence to Boots Opticians policies while embracing digital tools to enhance the patient journey.

Qualifications

• Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
• Experience in optical dispensing and patient care.
• Ability to travel across regional stores and build strong relationships.

Responsibilities

• Role model, lead and deliver exceptional care, supporting patients and customers to make appropriate choices.
• Work flexibly across the opticians area according to business need.
• Provide expert knowledge for patients with more specialist requirements.
• Deliver complete healthcare solutions for patients and coach others.
• Supervise development, education and training of colleagues and students.
• Comply with Boots Opticians policies and procedures.
• Support efficient operations to ensure legal and safe dispensing.
• Participate in store leadership meetings to maintain high clinical standards.
• Engage customers with the digital tools where appropriate.
