Job summary

Leightons Opticians & Hearing Care is seeking a qualified Dispensing Optician to join our mobile Pulse team, covering Cobham and surrounding practices. You will lead dispensing, provide personalised eyewear consultations and travel with a company car or travel allowance across stores.

Location: Cobham, Including a commute of up to 1 hour 30 mins from home address

Rota: Week 1: Monday to Friday

Week 2: Tuesday to Saturday

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Dispensing Optician to join our dynamic mobile team. Our Pulse opticians consist of clinical, passionate individuals who provide cover for both planned absences, additional clinics, practice support, and short-term clinic cover. We create a radius around your home address, so you know that you won't be asked to commute further than agreed. As a Pulse Dispensing Optician at Leightons, you will play a crucial role in leading the clinical care of our patients, delivering a unique and personalised experience from start to finish, across multiple practices. You will be given either a company car OR additional travel allowance to accommodate this, as well as given the opportunity to develop your skills across a variety of our lovely stores.

This role is ideal for a fully qualified Dispensing Optician with strong communication skills, who values quality over quantity. You should be engaging, motivated, and comfortable working with customers in a consultative manner. You have to have a full UK driving license, due to the role being mobile. The only other requirement is that you are registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
