Job summary

Mammoet is seeking a Mobile Crane Operator for heavy lift and transport projects at Hinkley Point C. This fixed-term contract offers competitive salary depending on experience and requires crane operation, maintenance, and safe lifting per procedures.

The role involves travel to site, long-term career prospects within Mammoet, and training opportunities. Applicants should be comfortable with occasional travel and live within a commutable distance to Teesside office.

Qualifications

• Valid red or blue CPCS card with relevant categories.
• Experience operating cranes between 10te-120te.
• Live within a commutable distance to the Teesside office.

Responsibilities

• External and technical condition of the assigned machines and materials.
• Prepare crane for operations: extend outriggers, assemble/dismantle ballast, reeve cables.
• Connect safety systems in line with manufacturer instructions and policy.
• Operate the crane correctly, including driving to and from site.
• Adhere to safety rules and follow Supervisor instructions for safe lifting operations.
