Job summary

Mammoet is seeking an experienced Crawler Crane Operator for heavy lift and transport projects. Based at our Thornaby, Teesside site with regular UK travel, you will operate cranes, assist with set-up, and uphold safety standards across projects.

You will perform crane mobilization, operation, and maintenance while coordinating with site teams to deliver lifting operations safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience operating crawler cranes on heavy lift or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to prepare, assemble and dismantle crawler cranes per procedures.
• Strong understanding of safe lifting practices and crane operations.

Responsibilities

• Mobilization/demobilization of the assigned crane in relevant configuration.
• Operate the crane in line with work standards and instructions.
• Position and reposition loads safely and accurately.
• Perform periodic preventative and routine maintenance on cranes.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and effectively.
