Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Mobile Chef to provide cover in the West Berkshire area. The role is term-time only with 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and you will need your own transport for a mobile position.

You will work with site-based teams to prepare and present meals to Caterlink standards while ensuring Health & Safety, Food Safety and environmental compliance. The position supports flexible working arrangements within a school catering context.

• Ensure locations meet Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislation and procedures
• Enhance the company's reputation for excellent food and service with clients and customers
• Support day-to-day location operations and supervise teams, manage inventories, monitor budgets, and implement action plans

Job description

We are hiring for a Mobile Chef to provide cover in the area of West Berkshire to support our existing site-based teams This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility. This role will be a mobile-based role so you will therefore need to have your own transport. The role:

• £16 per hour
• 30 hours per week working Monday - Friday
• Term-time only -

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that our locations meets statutory and company requirements of Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislations and procedures
• To ensure that the company's reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded
• To support with the day-to-day running of the location and supervising teams including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
