Job summary

Caterlink, the education sector catering specialist, is hiring a Chef to provide cover in Oxfordshire. This is a mobile role with you responsible for delivering meals to schools during term-time, with no weekends and your own transport required.

You will prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards, follow Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures, manage inventories and support location budgets and action plans. DBS check will be obtained.

Job Description

We are hiring for a Chef to provide cover in the area of Oxfordshireto support our existing site-based teams. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

This role will be a mobile-based role so you will therefore need to have your own transport.

The role:

• £14.00per hour
• 30hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
