Job summary

Support at Home Ltd in Widnes is seeking a part-time domiciliary care worker to join a family-run team. The role covers in-home assistance to help clients live independently with dignity, including personal care, meal prep and companionship. The position offers flexible hours and mileage allowances for travel.

Salary ranges from £13.45 to £14.50 per hour from April 2026, with opportunities for training and NVQ funding. A driver’s licence and vehicle are preferred.

Qualifications

• Health and social sector experience: 1 year (preferred).
• UK driver’s licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
• United Kingdom resident (required).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including washing and dressing, and medication management.
• Provide meal preparation and general home help.
• Offer social support and companionship to clients.
• Support safe moving and handling of clients.
• Assist clients with complex needs (Mental Health, Dementia, PEG, Stoma, and Catheter care).
