Job summary

Dorset HealthCare is seeking an enthusiastic Rehab Assistant to join the Integrated Community Rehabilitation Team. The role involves providing rehab-based care to people in their own homes or on the ward, with some tasks done under the supervision of clinicians and some autonomously.

• Experience in rehabilitation or caring role, preferably in community settings.
• Good verbal, written and teamwork skills.
• Flexible, able to work alone and under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehab-based care to people in their own home or on the ward, including personal care tasks.
• Complete supervised assessments of mobility, equipment and function.
• Monitor deteriorating patients with support from clinicians.
• Work with Rehab Assistants to cover 7 days.
