Job summary

DCS Recruitment is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer for a mobile role covering the North West, based in Chester. You will operate across a portfolio of large sites, ensuring commercial gas systems are safe, compliant and efficient.

The role involves independent work on PPM, servicing and fault finding, with duties including gas testing and commissioning where required. Benefits include a company vehicle, on-call allowance and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

General requirement for experienced gas engineers with mobile responsibilities.
Desirable CODNCO1/CIGA1/CORT1/TPCP1/1A certifications and Gas Safe registration.
Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities.

Responsibilities

Service, maintain and repair commercial gas appliances and heating systems.
Carry out planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance.
Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
Undertake gas testing, purging and commissioning where required.
Ensure compliance with Gas Safe regulations and company procedures.
Complete service reports, certification and job documentation accurately.
Support wider facilities maintenance activities and participate in on-call rota.
