Job summary
Vertu FM seeks a technically strong HVAC Engineer (Commercial Gas Engineer with AC experience) to join our mobile team covering Luton and surrounding areas. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on gas, heating and air conditioning systems across commercial sites, service boilers, units and controls, and contribute to quotes for replacements.
The ideal candidate holds Commercial Gas ACS qualifications and has proven fault-finding and compliance skills, with a full UK driving licence.
Qualifications
- Must hold relevant Commercial Gas ACS qualifications including CCN1, COCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1A, TPCP1 or accepted equivalent.
- Experience servicing, maintaining and fault finding on commercial gas appliances, heating and air conditioning systems.
- F-Gas knowledge and driving licence are advantageous, IPAF/PASMA beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs to gas, heating and air conditioning systems on commercial sites.
- Service, fault-find and repair commercial and domestic boilers, water heaters, pipework, air conditioning and controls.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
- Support servicing and maintenance of air conditioning systems where qualified.
- Liaise with clients and colleagues to ensure work is completed and documented.
