Job summary

Vertu FM is seeking a mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join our expanding team. This permanent, full-time role covers Surrey/Hampshire/Berkshire, with a base salary of £48,812, a company vehicle, and travel paid door-to-door.

You will maintain commercial AC units, support the mobile field team, attend callouts, monitor systems, and deliver regular client updates, with 25 days leave and pension. Candidates must hold Level 2 and F Gas, have UK driving license, and be willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 2 and F Gas certification as a minimum.
• Experience carrying out HVAC maintenance, PPM and reactive maintenance work.
• Good general knowledge of M&E.
• Live locally and willing to travel throughout the region.
• Good IT skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out maintenance works across a variety of commercial AC units and systems.
• Providing technical support to our mobile field team - both remotely and on site when required.
• Attending reactive callouts (diagnosing issues efficiently and achieving first-time fix where possible).
• Proactively monitoring A/C systems.
• Providing regular client updates.
• Auditing and delivering PPMs and compliance to industry standard.
• Taking ownership of air conditioning work orders within your region.
• Working mobile throughout your region.
