Job summary

Selecta is hiring a Service Operator to visit multiple client sites daily, restocking and cleaning vending machines, and serving as the friendly on-site contact.

You will ensure machines are maintained to hygiene standards, perform stock controls, fix minor faults, report incidents, train new starters, and uphold excellent customer care across the network. This role includes using company vans, upfront safety training, and the chance to grow within a nationwide service team.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high level customer care in a field role.
• Able to train new starters and upskill teammates.
• Committed to Health & Safety regulations and hygiene standards.
• Reliable, flexible and responsive to changing needs.
• Presentable and professional in client-facing visits.

Responsibilities

• Fill and clean vending machines to required levels.
• Complete stock controls across machine base and vans.
• Fix occasional faults on machines and report faults.
• Report accidents, unfit foods and customer complaints.
• Provide training to new starters and team members.
• Maintain high level of customer care with courtesy.
• Complete audits and quality checks on machines per guidelines.
• Report machines below hygiene standards.
• Cover sites in a van or via public transport.
