Pay: £12.50 per hour
Benefits: 20 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years’ service, plus bank holidays, uniform, PPE, employee referral scheme, and Defined Contribution pension scheme. Also includes a work van and parking facilities.
Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday. Working hours are from 08:00 to 16:00.
As part of Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions, you will work from various locations within the PO, SO, and SP postcode areas, covering for annual leave and absences. Your responsibilities include tasks such as mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting, and sanitising surfaces to a high standard. Full training will be provided, and the role involves manual handling and physical activity.
Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points is required, as the role involves traveling between multiple sites. A work vehicle (van) is provided, and fuel expenses are paid.
About You: Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential. You should be friendly, with good communication skills, able to work independently, reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. You must also comply with Health & Safety regulations.
