Job summary

Sodexo Ltd is hiring a Mobile Cleaner to join a dynamic, on-the-move role across Birmingham and the Midlands. You will travel between sites in a Sodexo van, performing varied cleaning duties from kitchens to offices, while maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Candidates should have prior cleaning experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently with attention to detail. A valid UK driving licence and willingness to undertake training are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar cleaning or facilities role, ideally within a corporate office environment.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.
• Able to work independently, use own initiative and be a supportive team member.

Responsibilities

• Travel between different Sodexo sites across Birmingham and the Midlands, completing a variety of scheduled cleaning tasks.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchens, meeting rooms, toilets, offices and other areas, ensuring every site is clean, safe and welcoming.
• Keep cleaning supplies and consumables fully stocked, including toilet roll, hand soap, sanitiser, blue roll and hand wipes.
• Follow Sodexo’s health and safety procedures, including infection control, COSHH requirements and the correct use of PPE.
• Work independently while being part of a wider team; report safety concerns and support different sites as needed.
