North Yorkshire Council seeks a Mobile Cleaner based around Scarborough and Whitby. You will join a mobile cleaning team covering schools, offices and corporate buildings with shifts starting near 2:30pm and totaling 30 hours per week over five days.
Full training is provided; the role includes dusting, vacuuming and cleaning sanitary fittings. The position is permanent, part-time, with no weekend work as stated.

You will be based around Scarborough, Whitby and the surrounding area. You will be a valued member of our team who will be reliable, dependable and have a strong work ethic with a flexible approach.
Our mobile team provide cover within our schools, offices, and corporate buildings. Working for NYC as a mobile cleaner is a varied, challenging role in which flexibility and teamwork are essential skills. Your working day will start at approximately 2.30pm, where you will be picked up from your home address or mutually convenient location, by one of the Mobile Cleaning supervisors. You will be taken home, or to an agreed location at the end of your shift. Working for NYC as a mobile cleaner, you will be responsible for the cleaning duties on site including dusting, vacuuming and the cleaning of sanitary fittings. Full training will be provided, and the hours will total 30 hours per week over 5 days. Depending on workload, you may be required to work beyond this, for which you will be paid accordingly. For this you will be paid £13.28 per hour. No weekend work! During school holidays, the work times will be predominately during the day 7.30am to 1.30pm to deep clean schools involving a further range of tasks such as scrubbing floors and carpet cleaning.
