Job summary

HG Recruitment is recruiting a Mobile Cleaner to service a range of commercial client sites across Devon and Somerset. The role involves travelling between sites, delivering high-standard cleaning with a weekly rota and shifts typically in the afternoon.

You will work across multiple locations, with 15–30 hours per week and a requirement for a Full UK Driving Licence. A company van and uniform are provided, with travel time between sites paid where applicable.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required.

• Cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS advantageous (Basic or Enhanced) though opportunities exist without DBS.

Mobile Cleaner

£13.85 per hour | 15–30 Hours per Week

Various Client Sites Across Devon & Somerset

Are you reliable, flexible, and looking for a role where no two days are the same?

We are currently recruiting Mobile Cleaner to support a range of commercial client sites across Devon and/or Somerset (e.g. Exeter, Taunton, Yeovil). This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working independently, travelling between locations, and delivering high standards of cleaning service.

The Role

As a Mobile Cleaner, you will work across a variety of commercial premises throughout Devon and Somerset.

You will be issued with a weekly rota detailing the sites you are required to attend. Sites will vary depending on business needs and may include locations in:

• Exeter
• Taunton
• Yeovil
• Other surrounding areas

You can expect to clean approximately 2–4 sites per shift, depending on operational requirements.

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
• Flexible availability, including occasional weekend work
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
• Enhanced DBS certificate advantageous (Basic or Enhanced), although opportunities are available for candidates without a DBS
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude

Training & Support

Successful candidates will receive:

• Company induction
• COSHH training
• Training on company equipment and systems
• Ongoing support from Area Managers
• Site introductions where required

Working Hours

• Between 15 and 30 hours per week
• Shifts will vary depending on client requirements
• Start and finish times will differ from day to day
• Most shifts will take place during the afternoon around Midday to late evening
• Monday to Sunday working patterns available

Base Location - Newton Abbot TQ12 6TW

Please note that this is a mobile role and work will be carried out across multiple client locations throughout Devon and Somerset.

Important Information

• Travel between sites during your shift is paid.
• Travel from home to your first site and from your final site home is not paid.
• We aim to schedule sites geographically close together wherever possible to minimise travel.
• A company vehicle will be provided for business use during working hours.
• Company provided assets, mobile phone, iPad.
