Job summary

Barnsley College is seeking an Achievement Mentor for our Foundation Learning team. The role involves working from our Fleets building and a brand-new mobile classroom to bring education directly into local communities.

You will deliver small-group Maths and English intervention sessions, help learners revisit concepts, and find varied ways to make learning accessible and engaging. The job supports learners facing barriers and aims to boost confidence.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Maths and English support to learners.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual learners.
• Comfort working in community settings and non-traditional learning spaces.
