Job summary

The Lanes Group is seeking a CCTV Engineer in Manchester to manage an increased workload across our network. You will use CCTV to inspect drainage pipes, measure dimensions, and identify blockages or damage. You’ll access pipes via manhole covers and work primarily from a van equipped with CCTV gear and a field computer.

You must keep accurate records on a tablet for client reporting. We offer 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, life assurance, auto-enrolment pension, full PPE, and free onsite

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to work in a two-person team.
• IT skills including Excel and tablet use.

Responsibilities

• Operate CCTV equipment to measure pipe heights and depths and record any damage.
• Access pipes via manhole covers to insert CCTV camera with accuracy.
• Carry out most work from a van equipped with CCTV and on-board computer system.
• Use a tablet to log field records and report progress to clients.
