Job summary

The Lanes Group CCTV Operator role is based in Glasgow. You will inspect sewer lines using CCTV, starting with access via manholes and performing most tasks from a van fitted with CCTV gear. Records are kept on a tablet for client reporting, requiring accuracy and careful documentation.

Hours are 40 per week (Mon-Fri). A full UK driving licence, ability to work in a two-person team, and basic IT skills (Excel) are essential. Flexible scheduling may apply.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to work in a 2 person team.
• IT skills including Excel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• OX19 preferrable.
• CSCS Card preferrable.

Responsibilities

• Use CCTV equipment to measure heights and depths of pipes and check for damages to record (e.g., debris build-up).
• Access pipes via manhole covers to insert CCTV camera with accuracy.
• Carry out most work from the van equipped with CCTV and computer system.
• Use a tablet to keep records and report work to clients.
