Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking an experienced Assistant Catering Manager to oversee Chartwells operations on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. You will ensure kitchens and service counters run smoothly, delivering exceptional food experiences and world-class customer service.

You will manage shift patterns, lead by example, and support teams to exceed standards while safeguarding budgets and inventory. This role offers growth within a global leader in contract catering.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between the team and manager to ensure consistently exceed expectations.

• Manage tills and process payments.
• Support and train teams, leading from the front to enable excellence.
• Assist with paperwork when required.

We're recruiting an experienced Assistant Catering Manager who is passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service, and who can confidently oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Chartwells on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

As an Assistant Catering Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our kitchens and service counters run smoothly and helping to deliver truly incredible food experiences. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Liaising between the team and manager to ensure we continually exceed expectations
