Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, working with Chartwells, is recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor for a part-time role contracted to 32 hours per week across 42 weeks per year. You will oversee kitchens and service counters, ensure exceptional food and customer service, and support continuous improvements across our catering operation.

You'll lead from the front, train teams, monitor KPIs, uphold health and safety standards, and maintain a positive brand image across 6,000 venues.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

We're recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor who is passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service, and who can confidently oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Chartwells on a part time basis, contracted to 32 hours per week.

As a Catering Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring our kitchens and service counters run smoothly and helping to deliver truly incredible food experiences. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards

• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.

Our Ideal Catering Supervisor Will

• Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
• Have a minimum of two years of catering experience
• Have experience managing teams in a similar role
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
