Job summary

Stirling Council is seeking a Task Team Catering Assistant to provide healthy, nutritious meals for young people while ensuring high standards of food preparation and service. The role is mobile across units, with 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:00pm.

The successful candidate will handle food preparation, basic cooking, service, hygiene, and health and safety responsibilities, and must have catering experience and a clean driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering is essential and on-the-job training will be provided.
• Full clean driving licence is essential.
• PVG for Children is required if progressed after interview.
• Flexibility to work at different units as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food and basic cooking, food service and kitchen hygiene.
• Maintain high standard of food safety and health & safety compliance.
