Qualifications

• Capable of obtaining a DBS.

Responsibilities

• Perform various maintenance tasks including painting, carpentry, and plumbing.
• Maintain and update log books, assist maintenance team, and escort sub-contractors.
• Undertake basic fabric duties like touch-up repairs and assembly of small equipment.

CBW is currently recruiting for a mobile carpenter to look after a mixed portfolio of buildings across London with a focus on the East London area for a leading FM Service Provider. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary, further training, and career progression.

Hours of work & Package

• Basic Salary of up to £39,000
• Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm - 40 hour week
• Paid travel time after 30 mins each way
• Call out 1 in 6, £150 standby allowance
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Painting & Decorating
• Basic lighting
• Carpentry and plumbing
• Fixing Furniture
• Hanging Pictures & Shelves
• Maintain and update Log books
• Assist the maintenance team on site
• Escort sub-contractors
• To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks , making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.

Requirements

• Level 2 in Carpentry or equivalent
• Be able to obtain a DBS
• Sound level of administration and organisational skills
