Job summary

Vertas is seeking a Relief Mobile Caretaker to join our Facilities Team. The role covers sites across Chesterfield and Matlock, working 25 hours per week between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday, with split shifts and year-round duties.

You must drive and have your own vehicle. Responsibilities include unlocking/locking, cleaning classrooms and corridors, sweeping, mopping, emptying bins, basic checks, and supporting overall site cleanliness and presentation.

• Ensuring all areas are kept clean, safe and hygienic.
• Carrying out basic checks and light maintenance.
• Supporting overall site cleanliness and presentation.

About the Role:

The role would include covering sites across Chesterfield and Matlock, you will be working 25 hours per week, Monday - Fri between 7am and 7pm, split shifts, 52 weeks per year. You’ll play a key role in providing high-quality caretaking services to oversee maintenance and cleanliness.
