Job summary

Vertas is seeking a Mobile Caretaker based in South Derbyshire to provide caretaking services for our facilities team. This part-time role covers 18.5 hours per week across Monday to Friday, with shifts from 07:00 to 10:00 and 15:00 to 19:00.

You will help oversee maintenance, cleanliness, and basic building tasks to ensure high standards of service. The role requires strong customer service and communication abilities, a team-oriented mindset, and the capacity to work independently with minimal

About the Role:

Based in South Derbyshire, you will be working 18.5 hours a week across the week (Monday - Friday), between the hours of 07:00AM-10:00AM, and 15:00-19:00. You'll play a key role in providing high-quality caretaking services to oversee maintenance and cleanliness.

Who are we looking for?

• Great customer service and communication skills and experience in similar setting (Caretaking, Maintenance, Trades, Handy-person, etc)
• Experience in Legionella and Fire Alarm systems is desirable, but not essential.
• A Team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group.
• The ability to make the best decisions with Vertas in mind.
• Listening and responding to colleagues, customers and suppliers to achieve the best outcome.
• The ability to adapt and respond to change in a growing organisation.
