Job summary

Partners In Care Yorkshire is looking to recruit Mobile Care Workers to support people in Scarborough and Ryedale. You will work in the community delivering personal care and household management tailored to each service user’s Care Plan.

You will assist with medication, shopping, light tasks and social outings to help service users lead as independent a life as possible. Flexible hours, induction and training, and a company pension are available.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Valid right to work in the UK.
• Prior care experience preferred; training provided.
• A qualification in palliative, end of life care or dementia care is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care in service user’s home per their Care Plan.
• Assist with medication, household tasks, shopping and outings.
• Support independence and quality of life in the community.

Salary: £13.00 per hour

As a mobile care worker you will provide a service of care to people in the community to enable them to lead as independent a lifestyle as possible. Partners In Care's homecare service involves a programme of personal care and household management that is personalised for each service user following their Care Plan.

You will assist with medication, household tasks, shopping support and social outings. These are just a few responsibilities to support our service users in their own homes. This is a varied and rewarding role.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
