Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking caring, empathetic care staff to respond to urgent care and Telecare alerts, provide personal care, meal prep, and emergency support. You will travel across Wiltshire delivering timely, empathetic care to people who need support at home.

We welcome applicants with no formal qualifications and will support you to complete the Care Certificate. A UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, with hybrid working arrangements across roles.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required; we support you to complete the Care Certificate.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to urgent care and Telecare alerts.
• Provide personal care, meal prep, and emergency support.
• Travel across Wiltshire delivering timely, empathetic care.
• Work shifts including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
