Job summary

BGIS UK & Europe is seeking a Lead Mobile Maintenance Engineer (Capacity Engineer) to provide technical expertise across a portfolio of commercial sites in Central London. You will lead on complex issues, ensuring safe, compliant maintenance while supporting multiple buildings.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and 18th Edition, with a track record in mobile or multi-site maintenance and strong communication with clients.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrical or Mechanical (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• 18th Edition.
• Strong background in commercial maintenance, ideally in a mobile or multi-site role.
• Excellent fault-finding and technical problem-solving skills.
• Confident working across a portfolio with varied building systems.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive electrical and building services maintenance across multiple Central London sites.
• Act as the technical lead, supporting site teams with troubleshooting, capacity planning, and system optimisation.
• Diagnose and repair faults quickly and effectively to minimise downtime.
• Ensure all work complies with statutory requirements, health & safety standards, and internal procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance tasks and provide guidance to engineers and contractors.
• Maintain accurate records, service reports, and compliance documentation.
• Build strong relationships with clients, providing clear communication and technical advice.
• Support improvement initiatives across the site portfolio, including system reliability and capacity performance.

About The Role

We are looking for a Lead Mobile Maintenance Engineer to provide technical expertise across a portfolio of commercial sites in Central London.
