Job summary

Clarke & Wright is seeking an AV events technician and van driver to transport and operate audio-visual gear for wills and estate planning seminars across England. You will drive the company van, set up projectors, PA systems and displays, and manage guest welcome activities in venues and client homes.

The role requires hands-on AV skills, physical fitness, a clean UK driving licence, and reliability. Training is provided; occasional DBS check will be required.

Qualifications

  • Must have full clean UK driving licence.
  • Must be physically able to move and setup AV gear.
  • Hands-on AV ability: projectors, PA, mics, laptops.
  • Presentable around guests; handle confidential information.
  • Willing to undergo Basic DBS check; training provided.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the company van to venues across England; travel often the night before events.
  • Set up AV gear in venues; manage projection, PA, mics, and displays.
  • Photograph rooms after setup and during events for records.
  • Run AV during events and troubleshoot calmly.
  • Support hosts and assist clients at events and in homes when visiting.
  • Pack down and return equipment; arrange storage and transport.
  • Maintain equipment with routine checks and PAT where applicable.
