Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking an Automotive Technician/Mechanic to service and repair light to medium duty fleet vehicles across our mobile, on-site, and shop environments. You will diagnose, repair, and document work while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Competitive weekly pay and standard benefits are available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' hands-on automotive maintenance and repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Own and maintain personal tools and toolbox required for the role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically able to meet the job demands as described.
• Willingness to pass pre-employment screenings (including drug test and DOT if required).

What We’re Looking For

Working Conditions

This role involves working in a mobile, outside and/or shop environment with exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical materials such as oils and greases. Technicians must be able to perform essential job functions that include frequent movement such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods, as well as lifting heavy objects and accessing tight or confined spaces. This position requires regular use of hands to grasp, reach, handle, and operate tools and equipment. Technicians may be required to work at heights using ladders or elevated platforms and must be able to safely perform duties in various weather conditions. Due to the active work environment and movement of large vehicles, the ability to see and hear sufficiently to safely navigate the workspace is required.
