Job summary

SII UK is seeking a MOBILE AUTOMATION SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER to join our growing engineering team, building advanced automation frameworks for connected products and digital services. The role focuses on designing robust mobile automation solutions for iOS and Android in a Python-based environment, spanning devices and cloud testing infrastructure.

You will collaborate with international teams, contribute to automated testing initiatives, and mentor colleagues in a fast-paced engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent commercial experience in software development.
• Commercial experience in Python development.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining mobile automation solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Appium automation frameworks.
• Experience automating native, hybrid, or mobile web apps across iOS and Android.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation frameworks using Python.
• Build and enhance automation solutions for iOS and Android applications.
• Develop test automation across physical devices, emulators, and cloud-based testing platforms.
• Create Appium-based automation frameworks and reusable libraries.
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines and cloud testing platforms.
• Mentor colleagues and share knowledge within the team.
