Job summary

You will deliver reusable SDK components, ensure data quality and collaborate with Android, iOS, Product and Data teams to implement analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics 4. The role centers on cross-platform engineering, testing and scalable solutions across Tesco mobile apps.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience building native mobile applications using Kotlin for Android and Swift for iOS.
• Experience designing reusable mobile libraries, SDKs, frameworks or shared platform components used by multiple application teams.
• Good understanding of mobile application architecture, dependency management, release processes, versioning and backwards compatibility.
• Ability to write clean, readable, maintainable and performant code with appropriate automated testing and peer review practices.
• Experience debugging, validating and troubleshooting analytics events across mobile development, test and production environments.
• Ability to communicate clearly with engineers, product managers, analysts and stakeholders, translating business tracking needs into practical technical designs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain a shared analytics library for native mobile applications, with a focus on Kotlin and Swift.
• Create reusable, well-tested mobile SDK components that make analytics implementation consistent, reliable and easy for application teams to adopt.
• Partner with Android, iOS, Product, Data and Analytics teams to translate behavioural tracking requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Support implementation of analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics and Google Analytics 4 within native mobile apps.
• Define and follow a clear quality assurance process, including unit testing, integration testing, event validation, measurement verification and user acceptance testing.
