Job Description:

• Covering Glasgow mainly
• Monday to Friday
• 8AM - 5PM (all travel paid within those hours, approx. 30 mins to first site)
• Up to £44k base salary
• 1 week in 10 call out at £150 standby pay, plus 4 hours paid if called out
• Overtime rates:
• Mon-Fri from 5.30pm – x1.5
• Saturday AM – x1.5
• Saturday PM – x2
• Sunday all day – x2

ISS, one of the UK's leading Facilities Management providers, is looking to expand their engineering team in Glasgow by recruiting an Air Conditioning Engineer. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance on commercial AC units, mainly in high street banks.

You will use a company PDA to carry out air conditioning and building services maintenance across various client properties in the region.

Responsibilities include fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and occasional installation of air conditioning systems, including brands like Mitsubishi and Daikin.

You will work within a larger engineering team, with opportunities for development and progression within a major organization in the built environment sector.

Specific actions include:

• Managing AC and HVAC PPM, proactive and reactive tasks via helpdesk, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Performing other building services maintenance tasks, including fabric, HVAC, and mechanical duties.
• Responding to callouts as per the rota.
• Installing new systems and repairing existing AC units.
• Fault diagnosis and repair, including basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Monitoring contractors and ensuring standards are met.
• Ensuring all equipment operates to performance standards.

Requirements from candidates:

• Full air conditioning qualifications, including F Gas certification and relevant experience.
