Job Description:

• Covering Glasgow mainly
• Mon to Fri, 8AM - 5PM (all travel paid for within those hours, 30 mins to get to first site usually)
• Up to 44k base salary
• 1 week in 10 call out at £150 standby payment, plus 4 hours paid if called out
• Overtime Rates are:
• Mon-Fri from 5.30pm – x1.5
• Sat AM – x1.5
• Sat PM – x2
• Sun All Day – x2

Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to develop our engineering resource aligned against key contracts within Glasgow by recruiting an Air Conditioning Engineer to cover the area, providing planned and reactive maintenance on commercial AC units within largely high street banks.

Using a company PDA, you will provide air conditioning biased and building services engineering maintenance to client properties throughout the designated region.

This will include fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and irregular installation of air conditioning systems.

Systems from manufacturers including Mitsubishi and Daikin will be covered.

Working within a larger engineering team, you will have the opportunity to develop and progress within a major organization in the built environment sector.

Actions will include:

• Responsibility for AC and HVAC PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames to exceed customer expectations.
• Responsibility for other building services maintenance, including fabric, HVAC, and mechanical tasks.
• Providing callout response as per the callout rota.
• Undertaking new installations and repair works on client AC systems.
• Diagnosing and repairing faults, including basic electrical fault finding.
• Contractor control duties, monitoring workmanship to meet standards.
• Ensuring all AC equipment operates to performance criteria.
