Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer – Surrey Cover - £40/45k + Travel time – Apply today

My client is a mechanical engineering company with over 50 years of experience providing mechanical engineering solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients.

They are seeking a senior Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Engineer to work on a mobile basis across Surrey, with occasional coverage in London when required.

Responsibilities:

• Mobile RAC Engineer (Primarily AC) covering splits, multi splits, VRV, VRF systems, etc.
• Minimum 10 years of experience and FGAS Cat 1 qualification (preferably to City and Guilds standards).
• Full clean driving license is essential.
• Ability to clear enhanced DBS and security clearance checks.
• IPAF and PASMA certifications are preferable.

Package:

• £40,000 - £45,000 basic salary
• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Working hours from 0800 to 1630 with a 30-minute lunch
• Travel time exceeding 30 minutes at the start and end of the day, and outside core hours, will be paid
• Call-out rota 1 in 7, paid at 1.5x door to door, with a £200 weekly standby fee
• 28 days of SSP and SHP, including bank holidays
• Overtime available
• Van and fuel card provided
• Uniform, tablet, and phone provided, along with full training
• All RAC equipment supplied (scales, gauges, vac pumps, hoses, pressure washers, PPE)
• Engineers should provide their own hand tools
