Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to maintain and repair air conditioning systems across Birmingham and surrounding areas. The role involves servicing split AC, VRV/VRF and heat pumps, with responsibilities for accurate documentation and logs of inspections and remedial work.

The ideal candidate will have a maintenance/facilities background, a valid driving license, and be willing to participate in an on-call rota. FGAS/ODS qualifications or equivalent are preferred.

Qualifications

• Full, current driving licence is required.
• Willingness to participate in an On-Call rota.
• Background in a maintenance / facilities management environment.
• Relevant qualifications e.g., FGAS & ODS regs, time served apprenticeship, C&G Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems and heat pumps.
• Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, logging inspections and remedial work.
• Possibly work on refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets or ice machines.
