Job summary

Acorn Engineering Limited is seeking an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join our Operations team. You will service, maintain, fault-find and repair commercial air conditioning systems across a range of client sites, ensuring high standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction.

You should have proven experience in the HVAC industry, be familiar with commercial systems, have strong diagnostics, a valid F-Gas Category 1, a UK driving licence and good IT skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within the Air Conditioning or HVAC industry.
• Strong knowledge of commercial air conditioning systems and associated controls.
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• F-Gas Category 1 qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and use your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out service, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of commercial air conditioning systems.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on HVAC equipment and controls.
• Ensure safe work practices and compliance with industry regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and site contacts.
• Produce clear service reports and recommendations for remedial works.
• Keep Contracts Managers updated on progress and site requirements.
• Participate in out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.
