Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Mobile Multii Skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join the Facilities Management team covering sites in the South East. You will take full responsibility for refrigeration and associated equipment maintenance across sites, working Monday to Friday 8am–4.30pm.

An electric van is provided. Responsibilities include Planned Preventative Maintenance, reactive breakdowns, and out-of-hours support.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ level 2 Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
• FGAS City & Guilds 2079/11
• Brazing experience
• Strong knowledge of split systems
• Knowledge of VRV’s & VRF’s
• Experience of working within a mobile service delivery contract
• Understanding of SLA’s, KPIs and service targets
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices
• Full UK Drivers licence

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete electronic reports
• Carry out Reactive and emergency breakdown tasks and complete reports
• Be on a call out rota to provide out of hours cover
• Assist other team members as directed
• Ensure tasks are completed within contractual time scales and budget
• Carry out duties in accordance with company policies

• Undertake additional duties as required

BAM UK & Ireland are recruiting a Mobile Multii Skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join the Facilities Management team within the South East.

Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, you will be expected to take full responsibility for the refrigeration and associated equipment maintenance across sites in the South East.

As part of this role, you will be required to complete a variety of tasks related to this role to ensure the continued smooth operation of the FM business and our client’s sites.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm. An electric van will be provided.

• Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the appropriate electronic reports.
• Carrying out Reactive and emergency breakdown tasks and complete the associated reports.
• Being on a call out rota to provide the clients with full out of hours cover.
• Assisting other team members when required or as directed from the Contracts Manager.
• Ensuring that all tasks are completed within the contractual time scales and within budget.
• Carrying out all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Understanding and completing all work related documentation accurately and on time.
• Carrying out work in a safe and diligent manner.
• Complying with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
