Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland in Bellshill is seeking a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. This full-time role is 40 hours per week, with a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

You will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance, update CAFM in real time, supervise subcontractors, and participate in on-call rotas. A recognised industry qualification and FGas certification are essential, along with a full clean driving licence and fluent English.

Qualifications

• A recognised industry qualification will be required.
• FGas certification essential.
• Trade qualified AC Engineer with appropriate post apprenticeship experience desirable.
• Must have a full clean drivers' licence.
• Computer literate.
• Good communicator.
• Able to deal diplomatically with the client's demanding personnel.
• Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Flexible and adaptable to change.
• Fluent in English both written and oral.
• Disclosure Scotland PVG level may be required for the role.

Responsibilities

• PPM tasks carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification and documented in real time.
• Complete reactive tasks and site improvements as needed.
• Complete relevant paperwork for PPM, reactive and breakdowns.
• Update CAFM system in real time with full work descriptions.
• Supervise/sub-contractors on site during maintenance.
• Attend site for breakdowns outside normal hours and join regional on-call rota.
• Occasional out-of-hours work to meet maintenance commitments.
• Carry out any other duties as directed by the contract manager.

Job description

Equans is looking for a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team in Bellshill, ML4 3NJ on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

What will you deliver?

• Ensure all PPM is carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification and documented in real time.
• Ensure reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
• Complete all relevant paperwork in relation to PPM, reactive and breakdown works.
• Update CAFM system in real time providing full description of works undertaken, advising of any follow-on works required.
• Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance.
• Attend site in response to breakdowns or failures of the equipment outside of normal working hours, taking part in the regional on-call rota
• There will be a requirement to work out of hours to fulfil our maintenance commitments of our customers.
• Any other task as directed by the contract manager

Who are we looking for?
