Job summary

PureGym Ltd. is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join the Data and Analytics Team in London. You will drive models from notebook to production, owning deployment, monitoring and retraining, and building reusable components on the semantic layer.

You will work with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to shape MLOps practices, implement CI/CD pipelines, monitor data drift, and optimize cost and performance of the model estate in a hybrid London office environment.

Qualifications

• Experience taking ML models into production and maintaining them.
• Strong Python and SQL with software engineering practices such as testing, packaging, code review and version control.
• Experience with MLflow or similar lifecycle tooling.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines for ML projects.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Degree in Computing, Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Own production path for ML models, including packaging, deployment, release management and rollback.
• Build robust CI/CD pipelines for models and data science code.
• Monitor data drift, model performance and pipeline health with alerting and runbooks.
• Automate recurring model runs, retraining and scoring.
• Turn models and metric definitions into robust, reusable production components on our semantic layer.
• Define and evolve our MLOps standards (versioning, model registry, documentation).
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to ensure production requirements are considered.
