Job summary

Meta is seeking talented engineers for its Central Integrity team to build scalable AI-powered systems that safeguard billions of users. You will work on cutting-edge NLP, ML, and AI safety tooling, collaborating with product, design, and operations to deliver robust, responsible AI solutions.

You will own major initiatives, mentor peers, and guide teams in implementing scalable, efficient systems while maintaining high ethical standards and risk controls across global platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience using data and analysis to explain technical problems and propose solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven track record driving change within an organization and leading complex technical projects.
• Programming experience in a relevant language; knowledge of NLP techniques including text preprocessing, tokenization and sentiment analysis.
• Experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Experience implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality reviews).
• Ongoing AI skill development (prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with AI technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and deliver measurable impact.
• Masters or PhD in CS or related field.
• Understanding of information retrieval concepts (indexing, querying, ranking).
• Experience with data structures and algorithms, including graph theory and optimization techniques.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build innovative application experiences.
• Implement custom user interfaces using modern programming techniques and technologies.
• Analyze and optimize code for quality, efficiency, and performance; provide feedback during code reviews.
• Set direction for teams; lead major initiatives and mentor peers; onboard new members.
• Architect efficient and scalable systems for complex applications.
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues; reduce technical debt on large efforts.
• Work with a variety of coding languages and technologies.
• Establish ownership of components, features, or systems with end-to-end understanding.
