Thomson Reuters Labs is seeking an Applied Science Intern focused on machine learning and natural language processing. This six-month internship joins a diverse global team across Information Retrieval, NLP, ML, Engineering, and Design, contributing to real-world challenges in legal, tax & accounting, government, and Reuters News.

You will experience the full model development lifecycle—from ideation through testing and deployment—while learning from world-class researchers.

Competenze

• Enrolled in MSc in ML, NLP, CS or pursuing PhD in a relevant field.
• Hands-on NLP/ML with exposure to Large Language Models.
• Proficiency in Python and DL/ML/NLP frameworks.
• Experience designing experiments with a data-driven mindset.
• Strong collaboration and communication in diverse, distributed teams.

Mansioni

• Participate in the full model development lifecycle from ideation to deployment of ML/NLP solutions.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional global team of ML engineers, NLP specialists, data scientists, and product teams across time zones.
