Abnormal AI is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer II to join the Account Takeover Detection team. You will design, develop and productionize robust ML models to detect malicious activity and prevent account takeovers, collaborating with product and infra teams to ensure operational excellence.

The role emphasizes evolving fraud patterns, model monitoring, feature engineering, and staying current with ML research to drive scalable solutions protecting customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer in a commercial environment.
• Strong background in machine learning algorithms, statistics and predictive modeling.
• Proficiency with Python and ML toolkits; familiarity with MLops is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of ML algorithms and models for behavioral modeling and cybersecurity attack detection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into ML solutions.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, model development and evaluation.
• Productionize models and ML features with engineers, and monitor production performance.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability of ML systems.
• Stay updated on ML research and adopt best practices across the org.
