Job summary

Intact Insurance, formerly RSA, is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to build and run production-ready ML systems with Data Scientists and engineering teams. You’ll shape the ML roadmap, develop scalable solutions, and drive innovation across the business.

The role is based in London or Horsham, with three days on-site weekly. You’ll implement ML pipelines (Python, PySpark), deploy models in batch and real-time modes, and ensure monitoring, CI/CD, and secure deployment practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building production ML systems in a collaborative environment.
• Expertise with Databricks, MLflow and Delta Lake in cloud contexts.
• Strong Python, PySpark and SQL skills with production coding practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, containerisation and API integration.

Responsibilities

• Build and automate ML pipelines for feature engineering, model training and scoring.
• Productionise models, turning notebooks into modular, tested code.
• Deploy models in batch and real-time environments with versioning and rollback.
• Implement monitoring, drift detection, and automated retraining.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Platform teams on CI/CD and secure deployment.
• Maintain high quality tests, docs, and reliable operational standards.
